I decided I wanted to collect all the dragon games dolls, but I want to leave them in the package so I can display them on my shelf. I ordered Raven, Holly, and Darling all at once and was disappointed when they arrived today in the mail. I found the bottom of Raven's box partially crushed with the Ever After High Logo partially torn, Darling's left eye is a little bit too high (just slightly so, hardly noticeable with her tilted head in the package) and her hair was somewhat frizzy, and Holly had a single hair swept right across her face (now I'm just being picky, really Holly didn't bother me, but Raven's box and Darling's eye did). So, just a slight disappointment, but nothing that could take away the love I have for these Dragon Games Warrior Princesses. I love that all these dolls look like warriors for the dragon games. These dolls are my favorite design thus far with their leggings, boots, and armor. I feel like as much as these characters go through in their stories, these outfits would be more appropriate for their everyday wear.Now, Darling is my favorite of these three girls, blue and silver are my two favorite color's mixed together. Her armor breast plate is by far my favorite armor of all the girls, all the detail that went into it is just beautiful. They even aged the color of the armor with a darker gray. While I don't like the color pink all that much at all, it works well on Darling, though I think the light pink gems should have been a darker pink like found in the vines and leaves on her leggings.The patterns on the fabrics for both the top and leggings are beautiful and the overall design of the high low top is perfect for the dragon games warrior princesses. The boots, gauntlet, and shoulder armor work perfectly with her overall design and theme. I'm glad Mattel painted on her pink and blue gems on her shoulder piece and head piece, I was disappointed when they didn't paint all the gems on my basic Darling Charming doll, especially the single gem on her belt. There are no earrings on these dolls, but I can't blame them, they would get in the way if these were real dragon games.Overall, Darling is my favorite and the design is so well executed. I just wish they all would have come with their dragon like Apple is, that would have been epic. Even the baby dragon version like the exclusive Poppy is supposed to come with would have been awesome. Still, I love Darling both as a character and this doll, can't wait to see the movie next year. By far my favorite Darling Charming doll thus far, and I feel it expresses her true heart more so than her basic doll outfit. The Warrior look is just what Darling Charming needs to be wearing all the time.I love this doll. Saw her in a store a few months ago and passed her up. When I saw the had gone down on her I bought her! Amazing detail. The silvery plastic parts are very well painted. They are not as shimmery as they seem in the pictures but I don't feel this detracts from the doll at all. The hair on the doll I received in curled in ringlets, not straight like the pictures. Very becoming. The skirt on her outfit is actually lined with tulle to give it a bit of stiffness and body to make it poof. I love that her crown fits her so well. Some of the headpieces on other dolls I've just had to fight with and her shoulder piece actually clips in the back, instead of just sliding on. Her lips have a pearl finish to them which just makes them glow. You can't quite see that in the pictures. Just one of the prettiest dolls!This is our third Ever After High doll. Darling Charming is beautiful. She comes with a mini book, a brush, and a ring. We left her crown attached to her head so that it isn't able to fall off, and did the same with the piece around her neck/shoulders. She also has a metallic arm piece that my daughter prefers to leave so that her hand is able to move in the full range of motion. The reason why I am giving the doll only 3 stars is because of how fragile she ended up being. The leg just broke right off at the knee! Just snapped and there is no way to repair it. My daughter is heartbroken and is now afraid to play with her other two dolls because she fears the same thing will happen to them. She isn't rough with her toys so this happening was a surprise to us. All in all, a great doll, but just too fragile!A really beautiful doll with a lot more painted detail than some other EAH dolls. I do customizing usually but I don't think I will hardly touch this one. I do wish she came with a doll stand. Apparently some versions do. I do wish also they would have made a big set that included Herowing like they did with Apple White and her dragon.my 7 year old has read all the books and asked for this doll after seeing it at a friends house it's now her favorite. I was really impressed by how cool this doll is. It can actually stand up on it's own and bends in every possible way. can crosses her legs when sitting and the wrists even move!! these kids of dolls have come a long way. the outfit is cute too.According to my 11-year-old daughter:This Darling Charming doll is awesome. She comes with really cool accessories, cute clothes, and an informational dragon booklet. Her hair is beautiful, and not greasy or stiff. It's easy to style, and long enough to do braids and ponytails. The nice thing about her accessories is that they're relatively big, so they won't get lost easily. My only complaint is that the armor on her arm isn't removable, but this is a minor issue.Overall, I am super glad that I got her, and love playing with her. YAY!she is very cute but her shoes are both right footed and she can't move her hand because of her arm thing unless you move it up or maybe even take it off. The armor won, hands down. I find this doll the more beautiful of the two, and her pants and armor just suit the character far better. She was exactly as pictured, and is a beautiful addition to my collection, or anyone's collection. Little people will love her brave and heroic nature! I felt she should have a sword along with the little shield (ring) but perhaps that would speak too much towards violence for Mattel. I do plan on finding or making her one though!Compré esta versión de Darling en productos reacondicionados y la verdad es que me vino muy bien, tanto la caja como la muñeca. Lo único, las botas que le quedan un poco sueltas pero casi ni se nota.Por lo demás la muñeca en si es preciosa, como todas las Darlings. Eso si, el cabello un poco escaso, pero no tanto como las de Epic Winter. Lo más llamativo de esta muñeca son quizás sus botas y su armadura, ambos muy detallados (sin pintar casi nada como siempre, solo cuatro cosillas). Viene con un librito y un anillo en forma de escudo que puedes usar con la muñeca aunque la escala es totalmente ridícula :D.Darling ist eine der Lieblingspuppen meiner Tochter aus der Ever After High Serie. Auf dem Produktfoto sieht die Puppe insgesamt zwar schillender und eventuell etwas robuster aus, als sie ist (die Armschienen beispielsweise sehen härter aus als Plastik, sind aber wirklich nur einfache Plastikteile). Darling bringt einen kleinen Ring mit, der meiner 10-jährigen, schlanken Tochter leider nicht passt - es hätte ruhig einfach ein (etwas größerer) Schild sein können. Denn als Schild wirkt er doch sehr klein - trotzdem nett, dass man an so etwas gedacht und es zumindest versucht hat. Ein Schwert wurde der lieben Darling leider immer noch nicht spendiert, denn eigentlich besitzt sie ja eines in der Serie und nutzt es auch gern. Leider sind kein Ständer und keine Bürste dabei. :( Abgesehen davon gibt es nichts zu bemängeln - die Qualität und das Aussehen dieser Puppe haben meine Tochter zu 100% überzeugt. Mit dem Preis von 17,99 € waren wir ebenfalls glücklich.
