This book is incredibly comprehensive. It is exactly what I was looking for.I'm involved in teaching kayaking to beginners at the college level and this book is PERFECT as an aid for instruction. It has lots of great suggestions for fun things to do while improving skills.I like the way it is organized (by location land-pool-flatwater-whitewater, by type of game, by type of boat canoe-kayak-sitontop etc.). There are indices that help you find appropriate games quickly and they have codes indicating level (beginner, intermediate, advanced), what skills are emphasized, how wet you're likely to get, etc. They have an overall rating system based on how easy a game is to set up and run, what resources you need, if it develops useful skills, and whether it's fun and popular.The equipment list at the the front of the book is also very helpful. It explains the pros and cons of different kinds of balls, reminds you to take into account possible wind, what kinds of ropes and hoops and other toys and items are helpful, and in what ways.
