This is a very old game and the reason it is still around because it is so fun. You basically roll the dice and move forward to the end. The first to reach the end is the winner. You can land on ladders to speed you up or land on snakes who will slow you down. Some of the snakes will put you way back. Its kinda cool that you can see the snakes coming up in your next possible dice roll and its crazy when that is exactly what happens with bad luck. It makes it exciting and for younger children it is very exciting. I love playing with my son and sometimes get caught up in it too! Nothing makes you madder than landing on one of those snakes but also nothing makes you happier when you avoided one. The game is top quality as that its not card board and the pieces are well made.
